Indore: The housing and urban affairs secretary of India, Durga Shanker Mishra took an online review meeting of the work progress of the Light House Projects going on in Kanadiya area under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, which is being executed by Indore Municipal Corporation.
The IMC commissioner Pratibha Pal represented from Indore in the meeting along with other officials.
She informed Mishra that the construction of 8 blocks of the Light House Project has been completed till the plinth stage.
She said there has been a delay due to lockdown imposed in the city due to the pandemic and assured that the contractor has been asked to speed up the work.
Mishra appeared satisfied with the progress and said it should be completed as quickly as possible without compromising the quality.
Earlier, on January 1, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Light House Project in six cities of the country.
Under the Light House Project over 1024 flats are been made in 8 blocks under advanced technology of Pre-Fabricated Sandwich Panel System Technology. Students of over 39 institutions have visited the site to learn about the new technology practically.
